Hi -
Here's some info and links to some upcoming concerts you might wish to attend. Some of these are far away, but well worth the trip.
In April, Wave World is coming back to the US for a short tour of the northeast. They're a Dutch band (though one of the members now lives in Canada) who plays energetic electronic music. Their concerts are really something to see, as they combine visuals with music to make it more of a multimedia event. I think the last time they were in the US was in 2005. Be sure to see this one. Here's a link to concert dates and more info.

In early May, Bas Broekhuis, Detlef Keller and Mario Schonwalder are coming over from Germany for a short tour of the northeast. They'll be playing some of the same venues as Wave World, but with one major exception. They'll be guests on my radio show on Sunday, May 6 for an interview and live performance. They play Berlin School inspired electronic music and have been making music together for a long time. Here's a link to their site with concert dates and more info.

Also in early May, the Candyrat Guitar Night Live tour is coming to the northeast once again. This time, the lineup is different and there are two local shows worth seeing. One is in northwestern CT, and one in NYC. Candyrat is a record label which specializes in great acoustic guitar music and this tour has some great guitar players. The ones we'll get to see this time around are Craig D'Andrea, Stefano Barone, Pino Forastiere, and Sergio Altamura. Here's a link to their site with concert dates and more info.
